When BJ got the virus earlier this year, the sense of schadenfreude here was muted, since it happened so early and his policies, while inept, seemed genuine in their goal of stopping unnecessary deaths. He has, of course, suffered for the months afterwards, and his political future is looking dicy because the virus has set him back immensely. The long term health issues are still not sorted. It doesn't go away like a cold.

On the other hand when DJ got the virus, no body cared. We didn't discuss it. It was fitting. Scadenfreude swapping over to "I don't care, do you?"
