I usually keep the RAM slider set to around 70% but tried to bump it up after the task failed a few times. When I pushed it to 100% it actually only allowed 3GB of RAM to Photoshop so I guess it's a bit of a misnomer.

90% of statistics can be made to say anything 50% of the time.
