Well… VMware isn't an emulator.

Parallels now has a public beta of running ARM VMs. And you can run Windows on ARM in there, which in turn contains an emulator to run x86 apps. So once VMware ships, the same will apply there. But it won't quite be the same as emulating the entire OS — on the plus side, it should come with far less overhead; at the same time, there are limitations (like, say, if you need to use hardware that requires installing a driver, odds are that driver just plain doesn't exist for ARM).

Very curious to see someone try VS.
