Yeah, I know it's become a "thing" (and people/companies use it for marketing reasons, social media antics, attention-whoring, "reporting", etc.).
But still...
This sort of thing was cool, funny and novel -
barely - in 2007-2008. Now? It's like waiting in line because Sears is unveiling a new car battery or lawnmower.
