OK, thanks for the info.

After a quick search through Apple's support section, the problem might be that there might not be an updater directly from 10.0.2 to 10.0.4. You may have to update 10.0.2 to 10.0.3 and then to 10.0.4.

That's just a guess, though.

Edit: There are two updaters to 10.0.4. If you have the updater that is 12 MB, it will only upgrade from 10.0.3 to 10.0.4. In order to update from 10.0, 10.0.1, 10.0.2, or 10.0.3, the update size is 19.3 MB.

Assuming you have a DVD player, you can get OS 10.2.x for $17.99 or 10.3.x for $47.99. Even though you only "need" 10.0.4 for your Mac Office 2004, you'd be better off going to at least 10.2.x.
