Serious question...would such a thing be counted as a war injury/casualty of war, and go into the WWII records of injuries/deaths, or, since the war has been over for 75+ years(!), does it just get considered a "freaky, unfortunate accident" that just happened to involve some WWII hardware/weaponry?
I'm assuming the latter, but there may be those who prefer to see it as the former?
"The evil and horrors of war linger long after the treaties are signed and peace is declared...", etc.
