I have to say, I love the TS3+ Dock Kickaha linked to before. I use it daily with my MBP that is
pretty much always docked. Before that I used a
Wavlink that is nice and compact. This is a great dock that I used to use as my desktop dock, now it sits in my laptop bag for times I need USB-A or SD cards on the go.
Really, it has taken away the dongle hell and the need to work about a bunch of little adapters. I actually have a
