The issue is that the Faraday cage on the microwave diminishes the risk for microwave exposure and thus cataracts so no warning is necessary.

I don't own a microwave because I think it ruins food, and I am happy to use a stovetop for boiling water/melting chocolate/butter, which seems to be the only advantage going for it.
