You know what... With world Wifi hotspots springing up all over the place particularly in a couple of capitals where it is now 100% free coverage I don't think satellite radio at the price it costs will ever take off.

None of the shows are live anymore, so with higher bandwidth mobile devices they might as well burst download each 20 min segment of a show when in a Wifi area (whilst coverage is patchy) and let you go on your way...

I think it is the hugest white elephant going and will become something which is free in a decade, almost a give away... Why would you want it if we have (as I believe we will) a universal global Wifi network in about 5 - 10 years.

As for Apple putting it in an iPod. No way. Griffin might sell a satellite radio cludge but that's about it.
