I seriously doubt it. The wording in the actual invitation in the linked article above -
- seems to imply an early, initial glimpse (and maybe some overall "here's what we've got in store" discussion). But
not a full-tilt, "we're finished!" release.
So no...I seriously doubt iPhone 4.0 will be available to the public Thursday.
This is nothing new, of course. They always do an early "peek" at an event like this, followed by the official release several months later (perhaps tying in with the new iPhone's release?) Maybe certain developers will be able to get their hands on the early 4.0 to start testing and doing their stuff with it. But not us regular joes.
