I was under the impression that they weren't allowed to bring anything with them save for the clothes on their back. But then again, I'm glad that it ends up like this because I really don't want to look at a bunch of hairy women running around in bikinis.

eeeewww! I never looked at their pits! Maybe they cook up coconut shells to make a wax. That would explain no bikini line. Not that I looked there, either...
