I've finally started scanning some of my B&W negs, but I'm finding they're all dirty and I end up with annoying artifacts:
This is without any adjustment after the scan. Obviously the contrast and brightness need some work.
So how can I clean these negatives so they scan well? Anyone else deal with this issue?
Here are the rest. I haven't scanned all of them and didn't even bother to rotate the scans correctly yet. (Six page paper on ancient Athenian justice due Tuesday...)
