In my own defence, I thought my semi-spoiler was vague enough that I could have been referring to an Americanism.
Got away with a less common French starter word today. Gonna try Italian tomorrow.
I used to play a game called Word Collect. Basically, a Boggle type game. But very prudish. Wouldn't recognize "rude" words at all even when they were perfectly legitimate words. So "spine" was acceptable but not "penis".
