I mean, that's already been happening. Most of the good stuff was on "premium cable" in the 2000s, then premium cable became streaming in the 2010s. Fewer and fewer good shows make it to networks.

There's so much good stuff out there, though. It's really only a bummer when you care about one particular fictional universe and want that one to have more content. (And even then, there's new Star Trek all year. Too bad most of it is mediocre )
