comparing the Intel Mac Mini and the M1 version and it is exactly the sort of mixed bag that I was afraid we would encounter, where pro users are likely to be driven toward the Intel model in the short term (for instance, the need for more RAM). The comparison fuels my own worry that Apple's Intel machines will experience a shorter life span.
