Statements like that aren't really so bad themselves, without a little context. Depending on the beer brand and how much of a brat the kid is, this isn't always going to be that close of a decision.
You really aren't relaying just how terrible this is, and how little they care for the child, without saying that they chose to strap in BUSCH beer instead of their child.
