No, I fully get that. Got no problem with Macworld no longer being a thing (or Apple anchoring it). Just that, 10+ years ago, this very week, we'd possibly be seeing something. We always got new goodies that first 1-2 weeks of January.
Left to their own timeline/schedule, Apple
still puts out some not-fully-baked products (in the OS/software department, primarily). I shudder to think what we'd get if they were having to rush things out based on trade show schedules.
