Be careful with your wording. Keep in mind that AppleCare is not an insurance policy, but an extended warranty! There's a big difference between the two. A warranty covers premature failures due to manufacturing defects. Insurance covers failures due to abuse or "accidents". If you spill soda on your MacBook, for example, AppleCare will not cover it.
