Thanks, Chinney, thanks all. It is an honor and a privilege to accept the prize and to come up with the next PCT. As with all prior PCTs, there were any number of potential "winners" among the photos in this one, but I'll take my good fortune where I can get it!
On my shot, well, some of the back story came out inadvertently as a result of my lack of attention! I tried a few simple crops in iPhoto but wasn't satisfied with any of them, although I wish I had this in RAW as I think the shot has more potential. It was shot with a Canon S95 on Auto.
Now let me put my thinking cap on, review previous PCTs, and come up with a worthy subject for the next round. Cheers.
