I was looking at the new compact “trucks” coming out next year in the Hyundai Santa Cruz and the Ford Maverick. The crappy mileage on the Santa Cruz and the hybrid drivetrain on the Maverick seems to definitely put me in the market for the latter. I agree with Drew in that Ford likely will make killing on it combined with the electric F-150.
Can’t go full EV as the public architecture for charging in Maine really is not dense enough and I rent without an easy charging option at home.
I will still keep my LS4 Grand Prix for when I want to go petrohead zoomy.
