Emmylou does an outstanding version of it on Roses in the Snow.
Growing up S & G were part of the musical canon in our household, it's all consciousness now, like the Beatles and the Stones(my brother), the Supremes, Motown, Carpenters and Carole King (my sister), when you are one of the young children in the family you get stuff through osmosis, by that I mean you listen to what your older siblings listen to and shut up about it.
