Nuke it from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
Is there some sort of thing that can be put into place where people have to verify they’re legit humans, or there’s a “waiting period” before they can post (something most spammers probably won’t endure). Is there just no way, in 2022, to keep spammers and bots from infesting a site/forum?
Or do we just be super clique-y and close the joint to any further membership? And if someone wants to join, it has to be someone an existing member knows/vouches for?
Or is that just way too “country club” (or mafia)?
I don’t know, I’m asking.
