People said the same thing when Gmail was announced.

And when they launched Google Talk.

And when they bought Blogger.

And when they launched Orkut.

And when they launched Google Local/Maps.

The list goes on.

But have they actually become evil? No, they continue to provide great services for free. I'm not worried about Google.
