My read of the table is that the 16-inch now starts at something (5300M) roughly on part with the GPU that used to be the high-end BTO option of the 15-inch ($400 for the higher-end base config, and another $350 for the Vega 20 option), and can be configured higher than that.

Just from base configs alone, 555X to 5300M seems quite a jump.

(AMD model naming is horrendous.)
