i prefer Microsoft when I work with pages that use ASP. I believe you can do the same with Linux but I dont know how.
I prefer Linux when it comes to using software like Gallery, WordPress, and MovableType.. they simply won't work on Microsoft servers. Also Linux is cheaper.
