I've been aware for a long time of some of the horror stories about Paypal, WRT to eBAY, freezing people's accounts that are under dispute etc. But that's mostly from the POV of two individuals buying and selling from one another as opposed to an individual buying from a real merchant. Their merchant services (integrated carts, CCV, all that stuff) seem to be pretty decent but then I'm always skeptical of everything PayPal says.

Anyone here use PayPal shopping cart / merchant transaction services on their web site? If so how has the customer service been? I'm thinking, to cut costs and to simplify my business a bit, of bagging my account with a big merchant company / gateway. I do not do a high enough volume of business to warrant it, and now there's all the PCI compliance stuff they're requiring that will cost me another $15 a month. I'd rather let PayPal absorb that cost behind the scenes, have a shopping cart logo everyone knows, etc.

Thoughts?
