That's actually okay. It adds another element to the "game" side of things.
But I like my creative sandbox. I really don't like the "lightning can start fires anywhere, lolol" thing.

I imagine the "storms make monsters spawn during the day" thing only applies to unlit/unexplored areas. Like, basically storms will be unscheduled nights. Only with lightning.
