As far as construction goes, since we will not be wiping the spawn chunks, it seems that we can go ahead and start carving out a subway tunnel following Grey's route out to the South portal, right?
Are we far enough along with the design that we can do that?
We will have to come up out of the ground out there somewhere, and I suggest we build a "station" at that point and get the first tower up. That way, we'll have a solid starting point once 1.9 goes live. We can just build the sky-rail out from there. It'll give me something to dig while we wait for the update.
