Yep. May is very SW-friendly. All of the first six movies (PT and OT) were released in late May, with the 1977 original and
Return of the Jedi both happening on the 25.
Many comics, novels and video games were released/unveiled in May as well.
It’s also the month of several notable SW-related births, George Lucas being the biggest. But also Peter Mayhew, Frank Oz, Peter Cushing
and Christopher Lee (neat, also because of their Hammer connection), as well as Sebastian Shaw (unhelmeted Vader at the end of ROTJ).
Oh, and May the Fourth.
Anything SW-related taking place in the month of May is in very good company and on solid footing. And if it can be the 25th, even better.
