Years ago we got that "trailer" for
The Shining reworked as an uplifting, feel-good Nora Ephron rom-com, and I thought it was awesome. It's amazing how the music, voiceover, editing and all can totally affect the tone or how something comes across. That was the first time it ever really hit me upside the head like that.
"Ohmigosh, I've seen this exact type of trailer about 570 times in my life, especially throughout the 90's...nailed it!"
It spawned a bunch of copycats, but none were as good as
Shining.
