1. You know what concerns me about this?

I believe that, traditionally, war-time governments are re-elected.

2. No matter how poorly they managed the situation, if they can control the narrative - and from that article that’s exactly what they set out to do - then they stand the best chance of re-election.

3. Unfortunately, and this may be my bias, I don’t rate our PM.

I certainly don’t rate some other political leaders either.

These are people who put their well-being and financial benefit above the good of the people... the same people they have been elected to represent!

4. My fear is that these same “leaders” will retain office and the world will be worse off long term.

5. Compare and contrast with South Korea’s foreign minister, Kang Kyung-wha.

I much prefer an approach of transparency and honesty with testing.
