Thanks AWR, it was a fun project FILLED with unexpected lessons. The actual exposure of the project was a disappointment. The video has been up for a month with only 2000 hits or so, and none of the technology sites picked it up. I tried to get it noticed on several with no luck. Worse yet, one seemingly well placed person* pointedly ignored several great opportunities to mention it, and other Facebook "friends" who I felt pretended it never existed. One of those folks is raising money on kickstarter for a book of his own and I gave $30 to his project yesterday just so that I wouldn't be the smaller person.

So many lessons about how hard it is to create something viral, and to expect your friends to help. The Internet is a busy, busy place.

I'm going to write an article about the experience, but for now I'm on to new things. :/

* nobody here, for the record
