On a similar note, we've just finished unpacking the rest of our moving boxes in the past few days (I know, it took us a year) and I found my mom's old Canon AE-1 Program, along with a 50mm/1.8 and a 28mm/2.8.
I'm trying to get her to let me buy a roll of B&W film (Tri-X perhaps?) and try it out a bit.
