I have been a big Elvis Costello fan over the years, but find that his music has not aged all that well with me recently. I hope that is just a temporary phenomenon. Maybe I should give that recording of the live set a try.
I am still especially loving the music of another musician from the era, Billy Bragg, whom I have finally had the opportunity see live (twice!) over the past couple of years (and to briefly talk with after one of his concerts). Great shows: l enjoyed his political commentary between the songs almost as much as the songs themselves.
