I don't know if this was mentioned earlier or not but I'm disturbed by the change in our mob's ability to swim. Really makes my traps less effective, at least the all water ones. Grinders still work great if you can convince the mobs to let the current take them to it!
For giggles I made a
short recording of my original skeleton spawner trap being totally ineffective. Thankfully most modern traps rely on lava blades or major falls.
