Because what we need is government involvement in innovative technology. Sounds like the EU's SLS will be USB-C.

Hey, I'm not against it. I just want the industry to settle it, and not the government. If we've learned anything in the last ten years, it's that the government is entirely clueless when it comes to tech. By the way, the industry was already settling the issue. USB-C was coming to the iPhone soon, anyway. We know that from the steady iPad march. For the government to force the issue demonstrates, yet again, that they have no idea what they're doing.
