I really like the iTunes look of all the windows. I really hope Apple adopts that look in the next release. It seems that iTunes leads the way in interface changes. My guess is that will continue well into the future.
As for it being a fake, yeah, I think it is. I fully understand that some images might be creeping out, but I doubt it. We are still a year away from the release and my guess is that Apple is still working on the look and feel of the gui with nothing cemented in, yet. The dark shot (expose) is a bit too dark (where's the background) unless Apple was using a black desktop background.
The biggest killer for me, though, is the look of the Pages application on the right. Unless this shot also shows Pages 2.0, that is all wrong.
