Been toying with the idea of picking up a portable photo printer. Now I realize these things are pretty cheap, but some of the samples I've seen are pretty good.
But it's been a while since I've gone to a photo lab. What kind of process do they use. Is it basically a high end inkjet or dye sub printer? I guess it's safe to say, the days of using actual chemicals are gone?
