I just got my iBook last year and was already starting to save up for a PowerBook in a year or two.
Hopefully by the time I have the money for it, a new PowerBook will be introduced.
I just don't like the thought of telling people what kind of computer I have if I bought a MacBook Pro
Person A: What kind of computer do you have?
Me: A MacBook Pro!! <excitedly and proud>
People A,B,C- <points and laughs> HAHA
Me: <runs away and hides>
....It just doesn't sound like a high-end notebook name to me.
