Personally, I took Dorian's comment to mean that Trumpetman should think for himself (Kant's "autonomy" and whatnot). If so, he has a point. More likely Dorian referenced it for some other unimportant reason that only he knows and that the rest of us don't care about, which is why his comment was safe to ignore.
I don't know what in Metaphysic of Morals would be taken to say "someone shouldn't spend money." Maybe someone could point it out to me.
Anyway, my suggestion: if you can't think of what to spend money on, reinvest it and/or spend it on kids. In the meantime, get some interests and hobbies like other people do. It builds character.
