Both the CPU and the GPU in those systems would struggle. I noted the CPU because anything the GPU cannot handle in terms of video is off loaded to the CPU.
Even the Intel 950 IGP in the original Mac Mini are better than the 9600XT that the G5 systems, which shipped with AGP cards.
