This is why you wait for the teardown. Because there's always something interesting to be found.
When someone pulls it apart, it will be great to see how usable that port is. (Are they saying there's space inside for another SSD?)
The weird thing is that someone with a 4 or 8 TB SSD likely isn't going to open up the machine for years.
It's the folks with the smaller capacities that would actually need expansion.
