Well, yeah. That's kinda my point. These brothers could've had their observation from 20-25 feet away, safely. No reason they had to "honor" him in the exact spot - a train track - where he was killed. That's just kinda asking for lightning to strike again, isn't it?
"My friend was killed by a grizzly in this cave yesterday. Let's go there, walk inside about 30 feet with a meat-lover's pizza and light a candle in his honor."
Stay off the damn tracks, people. Doing so dramatically decreases your odds of getting hit by a train, according to studies on the matter.
