My thinking is that this all depends on where Ax chip power tips the scales.
If it's introduced in the low end, I think Apple would have no problem using the iBook name to differentiate from MacBooks with Intel.
And if they're a play for Education from Chromebooks, doubly so. Many of us have fond memories of our iBooks.
But if Ax chips turn out to be really competitive for everything but the Pro line,
then we're looking at a broad-based replacement strategy with the Mac name embedded in the product.
