Yeah, right there with you. Although I do kind of understand the reasoning. After all, the iPad Air keyboard now works with the new iPad
and the old iPad Pro 10.5", so no cost associated with designing a new thing. But, that just makes the iPad Air make even less sense. I mean, it's not that the upgrade isn't worth it (faster A12 chip, faster screen refresh rate, better camera), but who is the iPad Air's customer?
In laptop land, the "Air" moniker represents the low end. In iPad land, it represents a midrange product without a home.
