I still don't think Apple will keep the "iBook" name, though. Having an "iBook" and a "MacBook Pro" makes no sense.

However, I do like the idea of the MacBook replacing not the iBook, but the 12" Powerbook - that's Apple's true mid-range notebook.

I just don't think their new low-end notebook wil be called "iBook." MacBook mini, perhaps?

$799 - MacBook mini
$1,299 - MacBook
$1,799 (eventually) - Mac Book Pro

I like it. It's like Apple's $999/$1,499/$1,999 iBook/Powerbook line, but with all the prices dropped $200.
