I was teaching during most of it
, but did pause and take the class out to look briefly near peak.
By the time I was done and away from eeevil light pollution (otherwise decent seeing here), it was waning past 40% again and my scotch seemed darker tone.
Seen a few nice ones, including one from Vancouver during Hale Bopp year, IIRC.
It was interesting to see people on the street all pointing and exchange students snapping photos.
