The wife and I are struggling to get through the first season of The Wire. Incredibly boring, incredibly predictable, incredibly trite. I'm not sure I want to go on. Everyone tells us it's the best TV show ever, but that can't be. It may get great, but it's automatically disqualified from being the best show ever due to how amazingly shitty the first season is.
