With the addition of 2 flashes and the notion I had to use a very small aperture f/29 for a large depth of field, You basically nailed it.
(Well, the plate was a color print on photo paper)
But the setup was the easy part, getting the drop to fall at the right spot and releasing the shutter at the right moment, however...
