For a laptop, yes (iMac too!). I've never in my life had a set of cans that had the cord coming out of the (R) side, so it's always a stretchy loop around the back side of the machine just to get the cord out of my way and on the
proper (L) side. How is this not a bigger thing? It's stressed me out for years.
